Why is the Shrine Religious & Church Supplies Closing?
The decision to close the Shrine Religious and Church Supplies business was made after thoughtful consideration and guidance from the Diocese of St. Augustine. Several factors contributed to this difficult choice, including:
- Post-COVID Recovery Challenges – The lingering effects of the pandemic have made it difficult to maintain sustainable operations.
- Rising Costs & Inflation – Increased operational costs and supply chain disruptions have impacted affordability.
- Strategic Refocus – The Shrine and Mission remain committed to their core spiritual and community mission, prioritizing their Gift Shop and religious services.
Although this chapter is closing, we remain dedicated to supporting our community through our Gift Shop and other Shrine initiatives.

Remaining Inventory & Warehouse Sale
To assist in your transition, we are offering special discounts on remaining inventory. You may visit our warehouse for final purchases on Tuesdays through Thursdays, from 10 AM to 3 PM, beginning February 4, 2025.
Additionally, select church supply items will be added to our Gift Shop’s online store, where credit card and check payments will be accepted. Purchases on account will no longer be available.
